Hopefully by now most people are savvy enough to recognise criminals when they are posing as banks or delivery firms etc to trick you out of your money. If you are feeling bored or having a bad day then it’s not a bad time to vent your anger over the phone to the scammers – the conversation can get quite funny once you insult their parents.
In most cases, people will just hang up when something feels off about a text message or call and forget about it. Ofcom though would welcome you to report the fraudsters – so go ahead and text the scammer’s mobile number to OFCOM’s 7726 number and hopefully that’ll get the scammers number blocked. Every little helps in this never ending war.
